ZW Ranch is located at 42411 Deep Lake Road in Antioch, IL.

We offer riding lessons.  Either English or Western, beginners through advanced.  There are opportunities to ride inside in our arena or, in nice weather, to ride outside in the pasture.  We emphasize learning and fun.  We do very limited showing, though we can help you get to the point of showing a horse.

We also offer shareboarding, with the option to ride and groom up to three days a week for a monthly fee.

Boarding opportunities are very limited, and we have only pasture boarding at our farm – with no stalls.  The horses have outdoor shelters and are rotated on grass pasture all year long, with hay given twice a day when the grass isn’t growing.  If you give supplements or grain, you will be asked to purchase that, but we will feed it to your horse(s) once a day.

We believe that horses should live as naturally as possible and that relationship and trust are the keys to having a horse than wants to be with you.  That wants to do what you ask.

We are constantly learning from them – about horses, about trust, about life, about love.
